Analysis of Mathematics Anxiety Experienced by Students of Vocational School in Padang City and The Factors That Affect Them

Mathematics is a subject that many students fear. This fear has negative impact, one of which math anxiety. study aims to describe the level anxiety SMKN in Padang and factors influence it. research descriptive with total sample 72 at State Vocational Schools City. Sampling used purposive sampling technique, based on results recommendations, observations, interviews from counseling teachers Padang. measures includes test anxiety, numerical abstraction The data collection tool this was questionnaire Likert scale model totaling 38 statement items 5 alternative answers. Overall, Students' high category 45.83%, means experience average student towards mathematics influenced by personality, environmental intellectual factors.
